Saturday was a match at Machias. My brother came, and he shot F-Class. He was shooting on the target next to mine, so if I wasn't shooting I would watch his target too. He did very good at his first match. His score was 572/600, with 13 X's. Luke and Haley shot service rifle. They both shot a 172/200 for their first string, but I don't know what their other scores were. Hopefully they were happy with their scores, because they did very good. Luke, Haley, and I were on the same target again. On my first string, I shot a clean (200/200), with 12 X's. My other strings didn't go to well... I ended up with a 592/600. I had a few unexplained 9's, but two of the points I dropped were my fault, I pulled them.
Natasha and her sister Gabby came and watched the match. They shoot in the .22 class that my dad runs. Soon, they will start shooting service rifle, and they wanted to see what a match was like. They brought their spotting scopes, and when Haley Luke or I was scoring, they would watch how we do it. When we went down in the pits, one of them would come with us and learn how to score targets.
After the match, my Mom, Dad, Nathaniel, and I went to my Cousin, Aunt, and Uncle's house. We had dinner, then made decorations for their Christmas tree. My Aunt bought clear glass ornaments, and we filled them with fake cranberries, small cinnamon sticks, dried cranberries, thin shaves of wood, and greenery. They are really cute! My Cousin and I took gingerbread men from last year's Christmas, and used brown twine to hang them. My Aunt, Mom, and Dad strung popcorn and cranberries. Their tree looks really pretty. =)
