My first across the course match

   On Sunday, I shot an across the course match at Machias. I had a really fun time, and it was good to shoot something other then prone. I shot slow fire offhand at 200 yards, rapid fire sitting at 200 yards, rapid fire prone at 300 yards, then slow fire prone at 500 yards. I LOVE shooting offhand, it is so much fun! During my first string of 10 shots in rapid fire sitting, I didn't get the last 3 shots off. I had a good score, but I had 3 misses because of the shots I didn't fire. In my last string of 10 shots in rapid fire sitting, I did better, and got all of my shots off. In rapid fire prone, my score for my first sting of 10 shots was a 99-4X (out of 100). My score for my second string of 10 was 96-3X. I am really happy that I decided to shoot this match. It was super fun, and I want to shoot more across the course matches.
